This project starts where the GIDes project ends. GIDes is a sketch-based 3d
modeler with a calligraphic interface. This application works upon IRIT modeler
kernel.
In a first phase we have to transpose this application from the IRIT kernel
to a more stable and powerful modeler kernel, the ACIS
from Spatial. The purpose is to have a crash-free application that will
work for at least 4 hours. The delivery date for this first phase is middle
of January. We'll try to incorporate a user-friendly quotas system for this
delivery date.
Nothing is strongly defined for the second phase. There are still some ideas. One of them is the implement restrictions (e.g.: if you draw two parallel lines or surfaces, if you change one, the restriction will maintain and the other will be changed too)
